The Harborstone Experience
More Than Housing. An Environment Designed for Stability.
Harborstone offers more than a place to stay: professionally managed environments where residents strengthen healthy routines, practice accountability, build positive relationships, and prepare for independent living.
Every Harborstone home meets one standard: clean, comfortable, respectful, consistently managed. Depending on the residence, a live-in or visiting house manager provides oversight, and we explain each home's management arrangements and policies during the inquiry and admission process.
Clear Expectations
Structure residents can count on
Residents can count on written house standards, defined responsibilities, consistent enforcement, and clear communication. Structure includes:
- Curfews
- Drug and alcohol testing
- Regular house meetings
- Peer-support meeting participation
- Employment, education, or productive-activity expectations
- Accountability check-ins
- Shared household responsibilities
- Respectful conduct requirements
- Community participation
Recovery-Focused Community
A positive peer environment
Harborstone builds a positive peer environment where residents support the stability and wellbeing of the household.
Residents are responsible for their own recovery, choices, conduct, and goals. The home provides structure and community, but it does not replace treatment, professional counseling, medical care, or personal responsibility.
Growth and Independence
Harborstone encourages residents to work toward consistent employment or education, financial responsibility, healthy routines, life skills, positive relationships, community engagement, personal accountability, and independent living.
